- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

1. Heat the water.
2. Mix all the ingredients together.
3. Steep for 15 minutes in the hot water.

MY RELAXING, HOMEMADE HERBAL TEA

- 1 cup of warm water (around 500 ml)
- 1 teaspoon chamomile
- 1 teaspoon lemon balm
- ¼ teaspoon lavender

Steep the ingredients for 5 minutes in the warm water.

OMEGA-3 & ANTIOXIDANT-RICH BREAKFAST BOWL

- 3 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 very ripe banana
- A handful of blueberries, blackberries or any other berries
- 250 ml kefir milk*

In a large bowl, mix the kefir with the ground flaxseeds and chia seeds and let this sit for 10 minutes, allowing the chia seeds to soften. Chop the banana, fold in, add the berries and enjoy your breakfast!

* Kefir milk is a cultured, fermented beverage that tastes like a yogurt drink. Because kefir is fermented, most people who are lactose-intolerant can actually drink it. Kefir and yogurt do have a lot in common. They both have similar creamy-but-tart tastes and are traditionally made from dairy. They also both have plenty of protein, calcium, B vitamins, potassium, and probiotics. However, they do have significant differences. Kefir has more protein and more probiotics. Kefir is also thinner and is best as a drink. Yogurt has a thicker consistency.
